Earthquake Shakes Caracas Airport - What's Next?

Wow, did you guys hear about the earthquake in Venezuela? Simn Bolvar International (CCS) got hit pretty hard. Ceiling panels and lights came crashing down in the terminal. That must've been terrifying for anyone there. Thankfully, it sounds like the runways and taxiways might be okay. But still, a messed-up terminal can really mess with operations.

I saw Copa and Wingo canceled flights right after, and even a Turkish Airlines flight had to divert. Tough break since CCS just started getting back on its feet with international flights coming back. American Airlines even brought back Miami to Caracas flights, and United was planning a Houston route soon.

So here's what I'm wondering: How long do you think it'll take for CCS to get back to normal? And do you think airlines will keep their plans to expand service to Caracas, or will this set things back? It's a pretty big deal for Venezuela's international connections, so I'm curious to see how this plays out. What do you guys think?
