Mada Airways: New Player in the Lebanese Skies Soon?

So it looks like there's a new airline getting ready to take off in Lebanon called Mada Airways. I came across this while browsing some aviation news, but couldn't get all the details since it was behind a paywall. From what I gather, they're inching closer to launching, which is pretty exciting if you ask me. Lebanon's had a bit of a tough time lately with everything going on, so it's interesting to see a new airline trying to set up shop.

I think it'll be cool to see how they plan to compete with Middle East Airlines, which is already well-established there. Any idea what routes they might focus on? I mean, Lebanon's not the biggest market, so I'm curious if they'll try to connect to more regional destinations or look further afield.

Also, anyone know what type of aircraft they're planning to use? I haven't seen any info on that yet. Could be a clue as to their strategy.

I'm all for more competition in the skies, especially in areas that could use a boost. What do you all think? Will they thrive or just become another startup that struggles to get off the ground?

Curious about this too! MEA's got a strong hold, so Mada Airways will need a solid plan. Maybe they'll target regional spots like Cyprus or Jordan, or even underserved routes. As for aircraft, if they're going small, something like the A320 might make sense for regional hops. Lebanon's aviation market isn't huge, so niche routes could be their thing. But in such a tough economic climate, I wonder if they'll have the funding to really compete. Anyone heard anything about their backers or partnerships?
