Israir's New York Dream with Ex-AA A330

So, Israir's snagged an old American Airlines A330-200 for their new route to New York. This plane was chilling in storage since 2020 because of the pandemic. Crazy how long some of these planes sit around doing nothing! It finally made its way to Israel with a pitstop in Cyprus.

I think it's pretty cool that they're expanding with these widebodies. The A330-200 is a solid aircraft with decent range and passenger capacity. Wondering how they'll do on this new route given all the competition out there. The New York route is no joke with all the big players flying it.

Guess it's a good way for Israir to step up their game, but I'm really curious how the onboard experience will stack up against the other airlines flying the same route. Anyone know if they're planning any special cabin upgrades or just using it as-is?

Also, does anyone know what happened to the second A330 they're supposed to get? Seems like a big move for them. Thoughts?
