I've been trying to figure out which card is better for lounge access between the Chase Sapphire Reserve and Amex Gold. I know the Sapphire Reserve gives you Priority Pass, but I've heard mixed things about lounge availability lately. On the other hand, the Amex Gold doesn't offer Priority Pass, but you can pay your way into the Centurion Lounges with it.
I fly mostly out of LAX and SFO, if that makes any difference. I don't travel internationally too often - maybe once a year. Has anyone else had any recent experiences with lounge access through these cards? Trying to decide if I should stick with the Sapphire or switch to the Amex Gold. Would love to hear your thoughts or any tips you might have!
