Hey folks, I just found out about this new Hilton Honors Points Pooling option. Has anyone here tried it? From what I read, it lets you combine points with up to 10 other members. Seems like a sweet way to rack up enough for a nice stay if you're a bit short. I'm trying to plan a trip to Tokyo next year and thought this might be a good way to make the most of my points. Is it as straightforward as it sounds? Any catches or things I should know before jumping in? Also, if you've done it, how long did it take for the points to show up in the account? Appreciate any insights!

Tried it once with my family for a trip to Hawaii. It was pretty easy to set up, and the points showed up quickly, within a day or two. Just make sure everyone you're pooling with has a Hilton Honors account. Only catch I noticed is that you can only transfer a max of 500,000 points per year, so keep that in mind if you're planning a big redemption. Otherwise, it's a great way to get those extra points for a nice upgrade or longer stay.
