So I just read that some airlines are stripping their Airbus A321neos for parts, and I'm kinda scratching my head over this one. I mean, these planes are supposed to be super efficient with their new engines and all. They're still pretty new, right? Usually, they'd be flying for years, making money and all that.
I guess the demand for parts might be really high, which could make sense if the supply chain's a mess or something. The A321neo parts might be worth more than the whole plane in some cases, especially if an airline needs to keep other aircraft in their fleet operational. But still, it feels a bit odd to see these relatively young aircraft being taken apart.
Do you guys think this is just a short-term trend because of some weird market conditions? Or maybe it's a sign of something bigger going on with aircraft manufacturing and supply chains? Would love to hear your thoughts!
