So, after a decade, BAF Days are making a comeback in 2026! It's gonna be at Florennes Air Base on June 27 and 28. I remember hearing about the last one in 2016, and apparently, the weather wasn't great, so fingers crossed for better skies this time.

This is supposed to be the biggest aeronautical event in Belgium for 2026. Pretty cool that they're bringing it back after such a long break. I think it's a great chance to see some awesome aircraft and maybe some new tech they've been working on. Plus, it's always fun to be around other people who are into planes and aviation.

I'm curious if they'll have any special guest aircraft or international teams coming in. Anyone heard anything about that? Also, for those who went back in 2016 or before, what was the highlight for you? I'm thinking of making the trip, sounds like it could be a blast!
I missed the 2016 event, but I'm definitely thinking about heading to Florennes in 2026. It'd be awesome to see some international teams, maybe the Red Arrows or Patrouille de France. Anyone know if they'll be there? Weather can make or break these shows, so let's hope for clear skies. I remember going to a show in the rain once, and it was a total washout. Fingers crossed for a better turnout this time!
I went to the one in 2016, and yeah, the weather was pretty lousy. It rained on and off, which put a bit of a damper on things. Despite that, seeing the F-16s was great. I'm hoping for clearer skies in 2026 too. As for special guests, I haven't heard anything specific, but it'd be awesome if they got some big names like the Thunderbirds. Anyone know if there's gonna be a night show? Those are always a highlight for me.
I'm definitely thinking about going in 2026! I heard from a friend who went in 2016 that despite the rain, the atmosphere was still amazing, with lots of cool planes on display. I'm hoping they'll bring in some unique aircraft from other countries this time around. Anyone know if they're planning to include some vintage planes too? Would be awesome to see a mix of old and new tech up close.
I went to the one before 2016, and it was epic despite the weather issues back then. The noise of the jets is something else! I'm really curious if they'll have any of the new stealth fighters on display this time. Anyone heard rumors about that? Also, if you're planning to go, bring ear protection. The sound can be intense, especially if you get close to the runway.
