So, I read that SAS is planning to retire their A340s soon. I know these birds are kinda old, but there's something classic about them. I think they've served SAS well, especially on those long-haul routes to the US and Asia. But with the A350s coming in, I guess it's time for an upgrade.
Does anyone know exactly when the last A340 flight is scheduled? And what routes are they gonna use the A350s on first? I bet they'll start with the more popular routes, but I'm curious. Also, how do you guys feel about the A340s going away? I know some people love the quad engines, even if they're not the most fuel-efficient.
Anyway, I'm kinda excited to see the A350 in SAS colors. It's a beautiful aircraft! Thoughts?
