American Airlines hits 100 with their 737 MAX!

So, American Airlines just hit a couple of cool milestones. They celebrated their 100th anniversary, and almost in the same breath, they took delivery of their 100th Boeing 737 MAX. I think it's kinda neat how they dressed it up with a bow, just like they did with their 100th MD-80 back in 1987. A nice little nod to history, I guess.

Honestly, I'm curious how folks feel about the 737 MAX these days. After all the issues it had, do you think airlines like American are still seeing them as a solid part of their fleet? Also, with American Airlines being around for a century, it's wild to think about how much aviation has changed since they first started. Do you guys think American will keep up with all the new tech and stay strong for another 100 years?

Anyway, pretty cool to see them celebrate like this. What do you all think about these milestones? Anyone have any stories about flying on their 737 MAX recently?
I flew on a 737 MAX with American a few months ago. Honestly, it felt just like any other 737 flight I've been on. I know the MAX had a rough start, but it seems like people are moving past it since it's back in the air safely. American's been around forever, so they've gotta be doing something right. As for another century, who knows? Aviation tech changes fast, but they've got the resources to keep up if they play their cards right.
I think the 737 MAX has come a long way since its issues. Airlines like American seem to trust it now, considering they've got 100 in their fleet. I flew one last year, and it was honestly smooth. The tech updates and improvements probably helped rebuild that trust. As for American's future, if they keep adapting like they have for the past century, they should be around for a while. Curious if they'll go for more sustainable tech soon, though. Anyone heard anything about that?
It's kinda crazy to think about how quickly things change in aviation. I remember when the MAX issues were all over the news, and now it seems like they're just part of the norm. I've flown on one recently with American, and it felt like any other flight, honestly. I wonder if they'll ever name a plane after this era, like they did with the MD-80. Do you think American will eventually phase out the MAX for something newer, or stick with it for a while?
I think airlines like American see the 737 MAX as a good investment now, especially with the improvements made. I flew on one a few months back, and it was a pretty smooth ride. The tech upgrades are cool, but I'm curious about how they'll keep evolving. Aviation's changed so much, and I wonder if American will go for more fuel-efficient planes in the future or stick with the MAX for a while.
