AA AAdvantage Platinum Pro - Worth the effort for 2024?

So I've been flying a bunch with American Airlines this year and I'm pretty close to hitting Platinum Pro for 2024. But I'm not sure if it's worth pushing for it or just sticking with Platinum. Anyone here think the extra perks are really worth it? I've read something about the increased upgrade chances and extra award miles bonuses, but do they really make a big difference?

I've got some flexibility with travel this fall, so I could squeeze in a couple more flights if it makes sense. Also, does the lounge access situation change at all with Platinum Pro, or is it basically the same as Platinum?

Would love to hear from anyone who's been in the same boat or currently holding Platinum Pro. Is it worth a few extra flights, or should I save my miles and money for something else?
