Air Congo's Big Leap: Kinshasa to Brussels with a Boeing 787

So, Air Congo's stepping up big time! They're launching flights from Kinshasa to Brussels using a Boeing 787-8 under a wet lease from Ethiopian Airlines. Pretty smart move, I think, considering they're still on the EU's air safety ban list. This way, they can tap into the Brussels market while sorting out their safety issues.

Flights kick off in July 2026, running five times a week. Morning departures from Kinshasa and evening returns from Brussels. It's a major step for them, moving from regional to intercontinental flights. Ethiopian Airlines is a solid partner for this, given their 787 experience.

But here's what I'm curious about: How do you guys think this will impact the competition with Brussels Airlines? Will passengers go for Air Congo knowing Ethiopian operates the flight? And do you think this move will help Air Congo eventually get off the EU ban list? Let's hear your thoughts!
