PNG Air gets its first ATR 42-600 - What's next?

So, PNG Air just took delivery of their first ATR 42-600. They got three on order, and this is the first one. Seems like a big move for them! This is part of their plan to update their fleet, which makes sense since ATRs are known for being efficient and good for short-haul flights. Especially useful in a place like Papua New Guinea where the terrain can be challenging.

I think it's pretty cool that PNG Air is focusing on modernizing with these planes. It should help them maintain reliable service across the country. I wonder how this will affect their current routes and if we'll see any new destinations pop up because of this. Anyone know what their current fleet looks like and what these new ATRs are replacing?

Also, I'm curious about how much of a difference these new planes will make in terms of fuel efficiency and maintenance. Anyone here with experience on the ATR 42-600? How do they compare with older models?
